Chat

Communicate with your team and clients directly in the project, without leaving Archispec.

Access chat

  1. Open your project
  2. Click the Chat tab

Discussion channels

Project chat has two channels:

Internal channel

  • Visible to the team only
  • Ideal for internal exchanges (technical questions, decisions, work notes)

External channel

  • Visible to the team and clients
  • Use this channel to communicate with your clients about the project

Switch between the two channels via the tabs at the top of the chat window.

Product-level chat

In addition to project chat, each product has its own discussion thread:

  1. Open a product page
  2. Go to the product Chat section

This centralizes communication around a specific product (approval, alternatives, technical questions).

Unread messages

A counter shows the number of unread messages on each channel. Check chat regularly so you don't miss client feedback.

Clients can contact you via the external channel. Remember to enable notifications to be alerted of new messages.
