Installing the SketchUp extension

The Archispec extension for SketchUp Desktop connects a .skp model to an Archispec project: products, 3D models, and materials.

Requirements​

  • SketchUp Desktop 2025 or newer (native GLB import)
  • SketchUp for Desktop only (not SketchUp Web / iPad)
  • An Archispec account with access to a project

Download​

Download the SketchUp extension

Install in SketchUp​

  1. In SketchUp, open Window → Extension Manager
  2. Click Install Extension
  3. Select the downloaded .rbz file
  4. Restart SketchUp if the extension does not activate right away
  5. Open Extensions → Archispec → Open Panel

The extension is also available from the Archispec toolbar.

Updates​

When a newer version is available, the Archispec panel shows an update banner. You can:

  • Install the update from the panel (automatic download + install)
  • or download the .rbz again from archispec.fr/en/sketchup
